Pat holds a PhD in Materials Science and Mechanical Engineering from Harvard. He spent over a decade developing advanced materials at General Electric and leading product engineering at NEMO Equipment before co-founding VITRI. He knows what glass can do at a molecular level, and why it is the right material for this.

Zack Kamen

cofounder & design director

Zack studied Industrial Design at RISD and worked in Apple's Industrial Design group, where he helped bring product concepts to life through physical prototypes on the team that shaped Apple's most recognized products. He later led furniture design at NEMO Equipment before co-founding VITRI. He knows how an object should feel in your hand before it is ever made.
